I had such high hopes for this particular theme when it was first announced. Who knew I'd suffer the week from hell?
Just because I have absolutely nothing else to show for the week, this is one of the better "idea" sketches I did before I finally gave up. I started with a gesture and started trying to rough in shapes and planes on newsprint before I redo the sketch with proper anatomical proportions and placement. I do like this idea and hope to actually go somewhere with it in the future.
I like this as it is. It's a nice, clean, simple sketch.
