Creature of the Black Lagoon, by Axel Medellin




This has been my favourite subject so far! I'm having a blast here. And the Gill Man is one of the most perfect monsters out there.

I hope you'll forgive me if I updated the bathing suit a bit... the classic Julie Adams' is a bit too 50's...

    Your sense of color is excellent. Clearly, you had a lot of fun with this. What do you use for coloring?

    Thanks, folks! @EGK, the color was all Photoshop, with the basic round brushes and a couple custom brushes I made.
