Treebeard by Shawn Dueck

Well, it's either Treebeard, or it's a cast member from the finale of Hair. ;)

I have an "art pen" stylus that I can use for certain brushes in Painter.  It gives rotation to the brush, so it works well with things like flat caligraphy brushes.  I don't get to use it often, so I thought I'd try it here on the inking.

  1. Cool! Painter is a neat program that does alot of wonderful things. I have a hard time getting it to behave like I would like it to. The brushes behave differently than photoshop brushes I am used to. Still fun to play with and learn though.

  2. Yeah, Painter and PS are definitely birds of differing feathers. If I had a better version of PS I think I'd switch back-and-forth between the two more.
