Polgara by Steven E Gordon

I was quite surprised that this was one of the choices. I had no idea there were others that enjoyed these books as I did. The again from looking at the posts from some of the other artists maybe I wasn't all that wrong.

I kept playing with this and didn't like where it was going so I stripped it back down to just the original pencil drawing. But I did have to add her father, Belgarath, to it.
