Week Eleven: Favorite Comic Cover- Spider-Man Issue 3 by Scott Christian Sava

Just a quick sketch this week. Sorry I missed last week.
One of my favorite issues since it introduces one of my favorite villains.
Doctor Octopus.
If I were to do this as an original illustration...I'd like to get actual photo reference.
But for a 2 hour sketch...I guess it came out okay.

    Just looking at the Doc Ock part of the painting makes me think of the work of Eric Powell.

    I don't know why, but hey - train of thought.

    Still love this to bits!
