Week Five: Universal Monsters-Bride of Frankenstein by Scott Christian Sava

Hi all!
I'm really proud of this one. I think I'm "getting it" finally.

Again...3 hour watercolor sketch on 4x6 inch watercolor postcard.

Hope you like.

  1. Damn nice job on her! Love how you handled the drapery around the chest too. The wrappings detail... great great job.

  3. Nice work, I love the stark contrast between her gown and the background. Really makes her pop.
    Nice realism too.
Funny, my eye is kind of drawn secondly to the little splash of violet in the background, I guess because its the only color of that I see. I think I just learned something to use as an eye catcher, yay me!

    Really great work.

  4. ... wow - not only "how long did Donna have to stand there?"
but "how did you talk her into letting you cut up the sheets?" ... serious 'husband kudos'!

    ... (lovely work!)... `; ),
